A word inside the picture
In this Naruto scene, the teacher is talking about tomorrow’s graduation exam. The word 試験 is part of the drawing, not selectable text. A quick lookup helps you follow the dialogue without translating the whole page.
試験: shiken, “exam”
試験 means “exam” or “test.” In the dialogue, it follows 卒業, “graduation”: together, 卒業試験 means “graduation exam.” NearWord shows how to read the word, what it means, and how it fits this line.

Read the bubble, then the panel
Start with the main lettering, not the small pronunciation guides beside it. After a lookup, check that NearWord read the word you meant. A character’s name, an abbreviated ending, or a sound effect may not have a useful dictionary entry. Trying another meaning won’t fix a recognition mistake.
Once the word makes sense, reread the whole bubble and look at who is speaking. An omitted subject or a joke may only become clear in the next panel. AI Context works from the text captured around the word. It doesn’t know the rest of the chapter.
Some lettering is harder to read
Vertical text, furigana, handwriting, and letters over artwork are harder to recognize. Enlarge the panel and check the word against the original. The context you need may also be in the next panel, not in the line itself.
